Bauer Supreme
The Bauer Supreme line is designed for the player who has a power game. The skates have the ability to mold to the player’s feet better than ever before. And that design also boosts the power, making for a more efficient energy transfer with each stride.
If you look at the spine of the Supreme skates, you'll notice that the shape of the boot is more pronounced in that it seems molded to grip onto the feet and ankles. Although the Supreme boots tend to run a bit wider, the design allows for a close fit at the same time.
The ALIVE composite material on some of Supreme skates works with the compressed foam inside the skate to give it a “snap” that enhances the power of the player with a long stride.
Even with the Supreme skates at lower price points, you'll see the pronounced shape, which will still give the less-advanced skates in the product line the ability to generate the maximum amount of energy transfer.
The top-of-the-line TotalONE skates offer a Reflex Tongue that features a composite insert allowing players to customize the stiffness each time they prepare to step onto the ice.
Other Bauer Supreme line skates don’t have the Reflex Tongue or the high-tech, lightweight Tuuk Fusion runner. Instead the skates employ a more old-school felt tongue and just have the Tuuk Lightspeed runner.
Here's are some of the most popular Supreme models:
TotalONE -- Although it's not quite the skate the Vapor APX is, the TotalONE is still one of the best and lightest skates made by Bauer. It is really a total package: It employs the ALIVE composite material and the Tuuk Fusion runner. You can customize the tongue to make it as stiff as you need it to be, and it has details such as holes in the bottom of the boot that allow moisture to escape.
ONE100 -- A step down from the TotalONE skates, the Supreme ONE100 skates still are loaded with top of the line features, such as a 360 degree custom fit and the thermoformable material in the boot. The ONE100 does not have the Fusion blade runner, or the customizable tongue. It has a more traditional felt tongue instead.
ONE80 -- This skate is one for the intermediate to advanced skater. Even the recreational player with good skills would benefit. The ONE80 offers many of the features that the upper echelon Supreme skates offer, but it's much more affordable.
ONE60 -- A skate for the mid-level skater, a recreational player or even casual ones who can bring an intermediate or above level of skill to the ice. The ONE60 has a very supportive boot that provides the appropriate amount of performance.
ONE20 -- These are very affordable -- the least expensive skates in the Supreme line -- but they still offer Bauer's quality and performance. They are perfect for the beginner on the ice, someone just learning how to move on skates. But they are also good for the occasional skater who wants to move up from the beginner level.
